Network server cabinets tend to be standardized. Network cabinets are generally made of cold-rolled steel or alloy, used to store computers and related control equipment, which can provide protection for storage devices, shield electromagnetic interference, orderly and neatly arranged equipment, general network server cabinets are mainly composed of the following structures.
A complete new generation cabinet system mainly includes the main body of the cabinet, cable management unit, airflow management unit, power distribution unit, installation of fixed accessories, KVM switches and rack LCD monitors. The cabinet referred to in this section usually refers to the main body of the cabinet, unless otherwise specified.
The main body of the cabinet
The main body of the cabinet that meets the requirements of modern core server room design usually has the following characteristics.
The main results are as follows: (1) The ventilation area of the front and rear doors shall not be less than 5355 cm2 , which meets the ventilation requirements specified by the main server manufacturer. The front door of the cabinet that meets the ventilation area requirement
(2) Vertical installation of the columns can be easily adjusted to meet the requirements of equipment with different installation depths.
(3) All EIA-310-D compliant equipment can be properly installed.
(4) Dedicated access for integrated rear cable management allows users to easily place, manage and manipulate large quantities of data cables, even when rack equipment is already installed in the cabinet or mounted inside the cabinet.
(5) The rear power distribution channel allows users to conveniently install various models of vertical mount power distribution units (PDUs) without taking up valuable cabinet effective installation space. The dedicated power distribution channel facilitates power distribution operations and provides a large number of power outlets for cabinet-mounted equipment. At the same time, no less than 21 IEC power outlets can be installed on the power distribution channel on the side of the cabinet.
(6) Power and data cables can come not only from the cable bridge at the top of the cabinet, but also from the lower space of the raised floor, so the top and bottom of the cabinet need to provide sufficient cable entry channel entrances. In some operating environments, power or data cables may need to be routed from one side-by-side mounted cabinet to another adjacent cabinet, and side cable paths will need to be provided in the cabling aisle at the back of the cabinet to accommodate this need.
(7) The vertical mounting posts of the cabinet mark the exact location of each "U", eliminating the trouble of repeatedly finding the installation location and greatly facilitating the user's installation work.
(8) The front door, rear door and side panels can be locked and can only be opened with the provided key.
(9) Proven frame design, sturdy standard mounting bars and heavy-duty wheel feet provide static and dynamic load levels of no less than 900 kg.
(10) A number of grounding bolts are provided to provide adequate contact for the equipment installed in the cabinet and all separate metal parts.
(11) The front and rear doors and side panels are designed for rapid removal. Removing the cabinet doors or side panels can bring unexpected convenience during equipment installation and routine maintenance.
